Very good

Overall clean place with very attentive staff members and street views. A couch and a sofa sleeper available in the family suite. Great to have an attached restaurant for dinner. Excellent base for exploring Melk.

the location in a local area was particularly good. the room was functional and modern with a shower, a hairdryer, and fresh towels in the private bathroom.

Beautifully maintained hotel located close to the Danube valley and a peaceful square and the centre of Melk, a great location next to the tourist information, all the shops, and the bus stop. disappointing service

I woudl've given this hotel a good review if only they'd bothered to reserve my requested bike. What a surprise to find just one bike availaable! The breakfast was so 'busy' apparently that I was denied my cold buffet. Of course, I also learned I was charged for coffee I thought was complimentary. Disappointing, .

The best and worst parts

Impeccably clean and spacious accommodation set in the city's heart with fine views. The staff were amiable.

Noise from nearby bars disrupted our sleep, especially due to church bells ringing throughout the night. The lack of air conditioning in warm weather caused discomfort.

The Comfort Double or Twin Room was great with a tv, wardrobe, and ample toiletries. The view over the square was lovely. Breakfast was a nice spread. Philippe, our host, helped us with our bags and was super friendly!

The location was perfect, right in the city center with amazing views! We appreciated the private parking, easy with two little ones. The staff were friendly, and our room was spacious enough for our family's needs. We enjoyed exploring nearby hiking trails too.

My kids wished there were more breakfast options for picky eaters.
